No one was injured in a garage fire Saturday afternoon that destroyed a two-story, three-car garage and its contents, according to Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue (CKFR).

CKFR and Navy Region NW firefighters responded to a 911 call for a residential strucutre fire just before 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 in the 4000 block of Erlands Point Road in Bremerton. Multiple callers reported a huge column of smoke visible from both downtown Silverdale and Bremerton.

Crews arrived within minutes of the calls and worked to contain the blaze. The garage was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene and successfully kept the fire from extending into a nearby home.

The garage and its contents were lost including a 2001 Volvo, 2003 Acura, 2007 motorcycle, 2005 Jet Ski, multiple tools and bicycles. An adjacent mini-van also was destroyed.

The Kitsap County Fire Marshal's Office continues to investigate the fire.
