Missing woman found uninjured

A woman who disappeared around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 was found uninjured early Wednesday, April 8 just a few miles south of Holly.

Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue (CKFR) units responded to a 911 call for a missing person around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning off Misery Point Road in Holly. Friends and family searched for the woman throughout the night, but were unable to find her.

Firefighters conducted a search by boat and coordinated with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue crew to search the shoreline.

The woman was found on a hillside, trapped by the tide around 5:40 a.m.
