A 52-year-old Silverdale man was traveling northbound on State Route 101 in Potlatch on his 2007 Aprilia RSV 1000 motorcycle at about 2 p.m. Saturday when another driver made a U-turn in front of him and the two collided.

The Silverdale man sustained head and rib injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The other driver, a 35-year-old Hoodsport woman, was traveling in a 2005 Kia Rio. She was transported to Mason General Hospital as a precautionary. She was charged with failing to yield.
