Level 3 sex offender moves to Silverdale

Level 3 sex offender Robert Curtis Brueger, 34, registered with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office that he now resides in the 11000 block of Shipside Lane NW in Silverdale.

He previously registered as a transient, according to KCSO.

Brueger was convicted of first-degree child rape and two counts of first-degree child molestation in 1990. When he was 15 years old, he raped his 6-year-old half sister and sexually molested an 11-year-old boy, according to court documents.

He was convicted of indecent exposure in 1995 after following two women to their vehicle and exposing himself to them. Brueger also attempted to forcefully gain access to the inside of the vehicle as the women drove away.

Brueger has been evaluated as a high risk to re-offend, according to KCSO.

There will be a community notification meeting concerning Brueger at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the Poplar Room of the Silverdale Community Center, located at 9729 Silverdale Way NW.

KCSO Community Resource Officer Deputy Pete Ball is available to assist communities in establishing block or neighborhood watch programs and to provide the public with information on personal safety. Ball may be contacted at (360) 337-7074.
