Klahowya student arrested for posting threatening rap to MySpace

A 14-year-old Klahowya Secondary School student's future as a gangsta rapper may be put on hold after he was arrested for posting a song to his myspace.com account, complete with threats to students and school staff.

Kitsap County sheriff's deputies were notified by a Central Kitsap School District employee Wednesday, reporting the threats contained in the song, according to reports.

The profanity-laced digital track, recorded on a cell phone, disparaged the school, its "policies," teachers, "haters" and called out students by name and the type of assaults the 14-year-old planned for the them, according to the report.

The suspect had been expelled in December for possession of drug paraphernalia and a knife.

A deputy arrested the suspect at his home. The student said posting the song was a mistake, something he did out of boredom and he had no intention of harming anyone.

He was arrested for harassment and booked into Kitsap Juvenile detention.
