All lanes open following rollover in Gorst
March 24, 2010 · Updated 5:02 PM
All lanes of eastbound State Route 16 near Gorst have reopened to traffic following a rollover accident involving a semi-trailer this morning.
The semi, driven by a 41-year-old Port Angeles man, lost its load of scrap cars and metal around 8 a.m., and there was a 100-gallon diesel spill.
The Washington State Patrol said the semi was headed southbound on State-Route 3 and the driver took a corner too fast as the highway merges with State-Route 16. He sustained only a minor injury.
