Central Stage Theatre of Kitsap County, known as CSTOCK, was given a $2,000 grant Tuesday to expand its summer theater program for youth.

The money comes from Puget Sound Energy Foundation. The foundation was started by Puget Energy in 2006 with a $15 million endowment.

The money will allow the theater company to expand its summer theater program for youth ages 5 through 18. It will also allow the organization to offer more scholarships to the program, said Danielle Priest, president of board of directors. For more information go to www.cstock.org.
