The 79-year-old Illahee woman who was charged with second-degree murder June 22 is back in jail after she violated the terms of her release.
Darlene M. Green was confined to her home as part of her release on personal recognizance and was not allowed to leave except for emergency hospitalization, to attend doctor appointments and to appear in court, said Kitsap County Sheriff's Office spokesman Deputy Scott Wilson.
She was re-arrested Friday at about 4 p.m. after she left her house, Wilson said.
Green was taken into custody at home by a bail bonds company responsible for her home monitoring.
She is being held at Kitsap County jail.
