Starting July 16, movie fans are invited to park it on the top floor of the Old J.C. Penny’s Building in downtown Bremerton, re-dubbed the Harborside Commons Garage, for the return of free movies and music.

As in past years, the final movie of the series of four will be picked by attendees.

The first 50 cars made before 1970 will be allowed to drive up onto the roof and park. Free parking after 7 p.m. is available on the main and basement levels for everyone else, according to the Third Place Company’s website, sponsor of the event.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own seating. Refreshments, including a beer and wine garden, will be available.

Live music starts at 8:30. p.m. The movies start about 40 minutes after sunset.

This year’s movies:

July 16‚ “Shrek”

July 23‚ “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”

July 30‚ “The Final Countdown”

The August 6 film will be announced after the July 30 movie. Votes for the final movie can be cast at the first two movies and online at www.thirdplacecompany.com.
