Leave it to the professionals

The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate our country’s independence with family, food and fun.

But all too often, people end up in the hospital with injuries from fireworks because they didn’t play it safe. Leave the fireworks to the professionals who actually know what they’re doing. Don’t risk life and limb for a couple of oohs and ahhs when you can watch the brilliant colors lighting the night’s sky from a safe distance.

Despite the countless reports of injuries sustained because of fireworks, people continue to put themselves and others in harm’s way. If you choose to take the risk and light your own fireworks, at least be smart about it. Think before you run up to an explosive with a match as it blows up in your face. Be smart this Fourth of July so you and your family can look forward to many more in the future.
