Washington State snowpack melting early, experts say

SPOKANE – Washington State snowpack is melting earlier than usual, according to data from the fourth 2015 forecast by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

I came home from our concert last night all pumped up! Our performer was Rob Verdi featuring the Central Kitsap High School Woodwinds Band and the Jazz Ensemble directed by Michael Woods. I think it was the best concert of our season!

Letter to the Editor: Incorporating Silverdale would not lead to higher taxes

In a recent article regarding the Future of Silverdale, it was reported that some members of the audience attending a county sponsored meeting to gather input on Silverdale's future in order to "update" (or revise) the county sub-area plan for the next 20 years, reacted negatively to the phrasing "Within the 20-year planning horizon, Silverdale will be a self-governing city".
