Letter: Taxes and CKFR’s proposed new bond and levy

It amazes me to no end, that every time a government entity wants money they cite the lack of revenue due to the recession beginning in 2007 and according to you and them, they always quote that the property taxes went down.

I came home from our concert last night all pumped up! Our performer was Rob Verdi featuring the Central Kitsap High School Woodwinds Band and the Jazz Ensemble directed by Michael Woods. I think it was the best concert of our season!

Washington State has the most regressive tax system in the U.S. (Christian Science Monitor, March 2, 2015). Washington takes a "greater share of income from low and middle income families than from wealthy families."
