Q: What music are you listening to right now?
A: I’m a hip-hop kind of person. I like rap, too. I’m a big fan of Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.
Q: Favorite drink?
A: I like the orange flavor of Vitamin Water. I like having one before every game.
Q: Favorite pro athlete?
A: Terrell Owens. I like whoever’s good at the moment and see how they play.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: “The Twilight Saga” and the “Harry Potter” series.
Q: Favorite TV show?
A: I love “Criminal Minds.” I like mystery shows and that one is pretty good.
Q: Macintosh or PC?
A: I like Macintosh computers. They just look cooler.
Q: Favorite part about baseball?
A: I like hitting the most. It’s your individual contribution to help the team out, and it feels good to get on base.
Q: What do you enjoy about being a captain?
A: I like to have the pressure on me, and I like to be a positive role model on everybody else. I like giving directions to others, but in a nice way so that I’m not being rude.
Q: What do you hope to teach your teammates?
A: I want to teach them to have a lot of confidence.
Q: What are the challenges of being a captain?
A: The biggest challenge is keeping everybody focused. You have to keep everyone on task and stay away from any distractions.
Q: What are the team’s goals?
A: We’re trying to win the rest of our games. We’re getting a lot better, and I think we can do it, we just need that confidence to get us through it.
Q: What are your plans after Central Kitsap?
A: I think that I am going to play at Olympic College next year, but I’m not sure yet. They usually come to the home games and talk to me. I just have to be on top of it and pursue it, if I’m going to go there.
Q: What will be your major or field of study?
A: I want to get a teaching degree or become a social counselor.
Q: Do you have a favorite class or teacher at CK?
A: I like my first period class, which is Bible as Literature, with Mrs. Petersen. She’s pretty awesome.
