It’s that time of year again when the little guys get their shot at gridiron glory.

The Kitsap County Pee Wees Championships kick off at 10 a.m. this morning at Bremerton Memorial Stadium.

In the D-level (7- and 8-year-olds) game, which starts the day at 10, underdogs Tracyton, which knocked off North Kitsap 14-8 on Wednesday, will take on North Perry.

Next at noon it’s a battle of unbeatens as 9-0 Silverdale battles 9-0 Chico, the first of three Chico teams to advance. Chico and Silverdale will battle for C-level (9- and 10-year-olds) title.

At 2 p.m., the B-level (11 and 12) championship will pit Chico (7-1 this year) against undefeated East Bremerton, which was Chico’s only defeat earlier this year.

As for the A-level (13 to 15), which had just three teams this year due to Bremerton’s middle school restructure, it’ll be Chico and South Kitsap. The final game takes place at 4 p.m.
