Tyson Whitfield is going home, but not under the circumstances he would have hoped.

Following the death of his grandmother, Whitfield, boys hoops coach and a teacher at Olympic High School, decided to resign his position, accepting a teaching job at West Valley High School in Yakima to be closer to his family.
