Level 5 best in state

What was already a banner year for the Olympic Gymnastics Center got even better.
After experiencing success at multiple levels this year, the Level 5 team continued the trend, taking home the Level 5 State Small Team Championship in late April.
MaryJane Thompson led the way for OGC, winning the all-around title in the 9-year-old division. Thompson won the all-around crown despite not winning a single event.
She was second in the vault with a score of 9.4 and also the runner-up on the beam with a 9.475. Her scores of 9.625 on the bars and 9.175 on the floor were both good for fifth-place medals.
But combined, her score of 37.675 was good enough to be named the age division
