Fellow Trojan Brendan Schruhl took first in the 5K event, which was the culmination of a seven-week fitness program provided to more than 20,000 students at all Kitsap County schools. Full results of the 1 mile saw Olympic’s Travis Ottele take second to Wojtech, followed by Ken Pepper, Chaz Sperry and Dan Ballou. Pepper finished second to Schruhl in the 5K race, while Sperry was third and Ballou fourth. Matthew Lutz finished fifth and Mark Mosely was in sixth. -
