"The King's West High School girls basketball team fell short of its goal of a state Class B tournament trophy, falling 57-54 to Pateros Friday afternoon in an elimination bracket game at the Spokane Arena. A win would've propelled King's West (21-6) into Saturday's trophy round for the first time in the school's history. The Warriors never have played a Saturday game in five state tourney visits. No details were immediately available from the game, but will be posted on this site as soon as they are available. Full game stories from the Warriors' Wednesday and Thursday state tourney games also will be available on this site, as well as in the Saturday, March 3 edition of the Central Kitsap Reporter. "
