CK (6-3) opens against 4A Wesco North No. 2 Snohomish (6-3), which out-slugged Lake Stevens 49-48 in a virtual prelim play-in game Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at Snohomish.

Olympic (4-5) continued its turnaround and qualified for the Class 3A preliminary playoff round with a 48-21 win against Bremerton at Silverdale Stadium Friday. The Trojans face traditional juggernaut Lakes, the state's third-ranked 3A team, in opening round action Friday. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Clover Park in Tacoma.
