Sports notices Hardball tryouts

NABA hardball, an 18 years old-plus men’s baseball league, is hosting tryouts from noon to 3 p.m. April 4 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
Day-of registration begins at 10 a.m. A non-refundable fee of $150 is due the day of the tryouts and an additional $130 is due within five days of the league draft. Tryouts will be rescheduled for either April 5 or April 18 if they are cancelled due to rain. The rainout hotline is (360) 779-2124.
Select basketball
Puget Sound Elite, a girls select basketball organization for players in grades nine to 12, is expanding.
Coached by King’s West girls basketball coach Yvonne Brittain, the nationally ranked Elite team has two positions open, as does the High School All-Stars team, which travels to tournaments throughout the state and Oregon.
Brittain is hosting an open tryout from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgetop Junior High School. There is no cost.
