Roller derby

The Slaughter County Roller Vixens, a women’s flat track roller derby club, presents “The Battle at the Boneyard.”

Local team Death Rattle Rollers will face Seattle-based Grave Danger. The Kitsap Derby Brats and the Emerald City Junior Gems also will square off in junior-level competition.

Both bouts are tomorrow at Skateland in Bremerton, 1740 NE Fuson Rd.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.slaughtercountyrollervixens.com or at the door. Adult tickets are $10 (prepay), $12 (door) or $8 (military with ID). $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children younger than 5 are free.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and action begins at 6 p.m.

Babe Ruth baseball

Registration is underway for the Central Kitsap Babe Ruth Senior Division, which is open to players 16 to 18 years old in Bremerton, Central Kitsap and Port Orchard.

To register, visit www.ckbaberuth.com. Registration ends April 30.

There will be an informational meeting for parents and players at 6 p.m. May 6 at Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Station 41, 7600 Old Military Road NE.
