Peace Lutheran Middle School track and field

The Peace Lutheran Middle School track and field team traveled to West Seattle Stadium last week for a 10-school meet, hosted by Hope Lutheran School. More than 400 student-athletes attended.

The following Peace Lutheran athletes placed in the Top 5 in their respective events.

First place

Spencer Bailey, high jump; Erin Fend, high jump; Claire Grindstaff, 50-meter dash and 200; and Danielle Cox, shot put.

Second place

Alex Becker (5th), shot put; Erin Fend, 800; Claire Grindstaff, 100; Ciera Eisele, high jump; and Lily Raymond, long jump.

Third place

Noel Bright, high jump; Erin Fend, 1600; Michael Shannon, high jump; Kylar Eubanks, 50 and shot put; Cheyenne Stefan, 1600; Mason Baldwin, 1600; Ciera Eisele, long jump; Kendra Fields, 100 and 200; and Ariel Johns, Kendra Fields, Lily Raymond and Mary Richardson, 100 relay.

Fourth place

Taylor Baxter, 100; Noah Harper, 50; Spencer Bailey, Erin Fend, Claire Grindstaff and Abigail Morris, 100 relay; Ryan Davis, 800; Jose Dominguez, shot put; Alex Houchen, 1600; Ryan Davis, Kylar Eubanks, Julia Ratcliff and Cheyenne Stefan, mixed relay; and Mason Baldwin, 100 and 800.

Fifth place

John Whitney, 400; Tony Andren, Alex Becker, Christa Hostvedt and Abigail Morris, mixed relay; Spencer Bailey, Taylor Baxter, Jenna Christman and John Whitney, medley relay; Zoe Conger, 1600; Julia Ratcliff, 50; Emily Schureman, high jump; and Rose Richardson, discus.
