Keyport basketball camp

Keyport Bible Church is hosting a basketball camp for players in fifth through seventh grade.

The camp is 5 to 8 p.m. July 13-17 at the church, located at 15270 Washington Ave. NE in Keyport. Players will receive quality sports training from experienced coaches and referees. A campt T-shirt, snacks, awards and extras also are included.

Cost is $15. Register by calling (360) 779-4235.

Summer conditioning program

The program is open to all seventh- through 12th-grade students who would like to stay in shape over the summer by developing both their endurance through running and their core muscles through a variety of exercises.

Participants will meet Monday through Friday from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at different locations and utilize a pool one day each week. There is no cost to participate in the program, but participants are responsible to pay pool-usage fees and supply their own transportation to and from the meeting locations.

Slowpitch softball league

The Bremerton Parks and Recreation Department is accepting team registrations for USSSA men’s and co-ed slowpitch softball. Players must be at least 16 years old. The season is Aug. 10 to Sept. 30, including 10 division games plus an end-of-season tournament.
