Tough enough to wear pink?

The Kitsap County Fair & Stampede will raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer with the annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink event. The 2009 event is Aug. 29 during the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede to honor area resident Wendy Peat, who is currently affected by breast cancer. Show your support by wearing pink to the rodeo, which is Aug. 26-30 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Tough Enough to Wear Pink merchandise will be sold nightly during the rodeo near the west end of the arena. Raffle tickets also will be sold, with proceeds going to Peat. Donations should be made payable to Kitsap County Stampede Top Hands, noting “Wendy Peat” in the memo line.
