The Northwest Division champion Kitsap Pumas will exercise a club option on midfielders Matt Friesen and Aziz Dieng and forward Zack Sampson.

“We’re solidifying the nucleus of what was a very good team last season,” owner Robin Waite said. “This has been our top priority since the season ended.”

Friesen played in 15 games, logging four goals in 1,039 minutes. Samspon, a North Kitsap High School graduate, played in eight games, registering one assist. Dieng, meanwhile, played 202 minutes in six games.

Season tickets for the 2010 season are on sale. A kids-only season-ticket package also is available for $25 (ages 4-12), which includes a minimum of 11 exhibition and regular-season matches.

For additional ticket information, call club headquarters at (360) 377-6008.
